Bing & Orbitz cheapest airfare

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

I’m going to let you in on a little secret, the cheapest airfare you can find on travel airline sites:

First, go to Bing and then go to travel.
From there, search your flexible dates and find the cheapest dates on the graph – probably not going to be a lot. Write the lowest fare dates down.

Second, go to Orbitz and type those dates in, walla! Cheapest airfare you can possibly find.

By combining these two airfare search engines you will save yourself a lot of money.

You’re welcome.

Google Fonts API

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Exciting news for the tech world: Google has released Google Fonts API. What does this mean for you? This is a easy way for you use different fonts than the same old fonts that have been around since the start of modern browsers. Adding fonts other than web compatible browser fonts has been annoying and tedious in the past. Not anymore with what I’ll call them, “google fonts” – really though, they are open source fonts. Amazing, once again, thank you Google for making our tech lives easier and broadening the web! Can’t wait for the library to grow and use more cool fonts.

Urban Art Projection

Friday, March 26th, 2010

I heard about this topic a little while back and think it’s really cool what people are doing with this technology. I definitely expect to see more of this in the future.

Street art in Dubai, I’ve been to Dubai and the opening shots are a great example of what it looks like, although I have seen better projection art, the following video has some good shots and good music:

Follow the rabbit. Pretty cool what they’re doing in this video.

More to come,

yaCaptcha review

Friday, December 11th, 2009

I’ve installed this captcha form a couple of times and it works great! The install is easy and it adds a simple form with a easy to use captcha. Really keeps all that spam out of your inbox and comments. I still get a couple from time to time but the amount I’ve gotten has significantly decreased. I definitely recommend the yaCaptcha and I’m about to review it in wordpress forums as I just did another install on a website I’ve been working on. Works great with customized wordpress installs too. Thanks to the people that wrote this and to all the people keeping spam out of our wordpress sites.
