Hi. My name is Josh Ranta. I'm a web developer and aspiring web designer living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I like to think of myself as one of the many people who builds the web as you see it today. I may not know everything about it but the more I work with it and on it, the better I become.

 
I've had programming experience in very diverse environments. I started with programming missile systems in the Navy. I went to college to learn the basics of OOP. While in college I found my passion for CSS and Front End Development as well as becoming comfortable with a wide variety of programming languages. My first job was working with ASP and some .NET and also a hand made CMS (Content Management System). My second and current job is working with PHP and a CMS called Concrete5. I also use wordpress quite frequently. I'm a rare developer that also has a eye for design.
